The feed is the bottom of the thickener through the pipe mixer, the pump is a belt-type filter press, the flocculant is added before the mixer, and mixed with the coal slurry before entering the filter press.
The belt filter press has 3 dewatering zones. The material evenly distributed on the conveyor belt of the belt filter press first enters the first dewatering area - the self-weight area; more than 50% of the surface water relying on the action of the flocculant is leached out between the flocks of its own weight; it is taken off; The dewatered slime is taken by the conveyor belt to the nose to unload the second dewatering zone, the wedge zone. In this area, the distance between the upper and lower conveyor belts gradually decreases, and the coal slurry is dewatered by the upper and lower conveyor belts; the coal slurry then enters the third dewatering area, the compression and shear area. In this area, due to the reduction of the diameter of the idler roller, the pressure of the coal slurry is maximized, shear forces are generated in the bypass operation of the upper and lower conveyor belts, and the dewatering of the coal slurry is strengthened. After being compressed and shear dewatered, the filter cake is brought to the head of the lower conveyor belt. The scraper unloads the drain chute, and the entire slime is filtered and the recycling process ends.
In addition to the adjustable speed drive system, the belt filter press drives the entire conveyor belt operation, as well as the belt tension device, guide device and cleaning device.
(1) Tension device
Each of the upper and lower conveyor belts has a tension assembly, which consists of two bellows and one air conditioner. The bellows is mounted on the tension assembly at the discharge end of the filter press and is supplied with tension by compressed air. The regulator is located on the control board and is responsible for adjusting the belt tension. The tension device requires a total supply pressure of 700 kPa. The upper and lower tensioning work pressures are generally adjusted within 500-600 kPa.
The conveyor belt guides are also pneumatically controlled and the upper and lower belts have their own guides. Its role is to keep the conveyor belt running without deviation. The guide device monitors the position of the conveyor belt by the contact distance between the guide arm and the conveyor belt edge, whereby the position determines whether to trigger the air cylinder. Changes in the formation of air cylinders push a guide roller to change the force of the conveyor belt, with the conveyor belt holding the center position.
(3) Cleaning device
The cleaning device for the conveyor belt is installed on the upper and lower conveyor belts, and its function is to clean the slime remaining on the conveyor belt (filter cloth) after the cake is unloaded, and maintain the water permeability of the conveyor belt. All conveyor belt spraying devices are equipped with their own “self-cleaning” nozzles. If a nozzle is found to be blocked, the nozzle can be kept clear by rotating a row of brushes through the hand wheel to clean the nozzles. Sprayer water pressure requires 690kPa.
The above device maintains continuous and stable operation of the belt filter press. The filter cake after dehydration is scraped by the scraper at the head to scrape the discharge chute, and the filter cake is in small pieces. Filtrate from different dewatering areas is returned to the concentration tank along with the washing water. The filtrate contains a small amount of slime, under normal circumstances this part of the slime ratio is very small, will not affect the sedimentation of the slime water pool.
